Review: Writer-producer-director opening Das’ Assamese language passion project is India’s official entry to the Oscars 2019 within the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ class and justifiedly therefore. Her spirited tale of hope, dreams, need and therefore the unblinking human resilience captivates your imagination despite its unhurried pace. It’s a moving lyric to her lush inexperienced home state and its stunning individuals.
